fascinating lecture by MIT’s Neri Oxman on ‘Design and the intersection technology and biology’ at TED-2015. Imagine the possibilities for our immediate environment when structure and materials merge and create a sphere which adapts and transforms; imagine the possibilities when this development is linked to the increasing internet of things/people connectivity and what this implies for our way of building. Do we need a built environment as the only way to provide shelter and privacy?

+++ On September 26th. 2026 the exposition in the Houtrustkerk in the Hague will be opened: works of Marcel Wesdorp, Frans Verschoor, Natasja van Kampen and me, together with some lectures. More info soon......

+++ July 4th. to September 4th. 2026, a selection of my drawings will be presented at Gallery Serruys in Rotterdam, as part of a cooperative exposition with RAR.

+++ April 29th.2023, 16.00 hrs. a public discussion at the Kunsthal Rotterdam between architecture theorist Lara Schrijver and Haus-Rucker-Co founder Zamp Kelp on the relevance and value of their fascinating work.
